I was at the pool the other day and a guy and his two daughters walked by me as he was giving them advice. He was either current or former military and the girls were young and late teens. He told them "...walk up to the edge and just jump in...don't hesitate, don't question it, don't think about it...this may someday save your life". At which point he walked up to the edge of the pool and jumped in. The younger girl immediately followed him, the older one let someone walk by (I think she was hesitating) and them jumped in.
